Biography
Will Bates is a British composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist. Born in Hammersmith, London, he studied Music Composition and Jazz Saxophone at the University of Westminster and the Royal Academy of Music. In 2009 he founded the music production company Fall On Your Sword, with studios originally in Brooklyn, New York.
He is known for original scores including Another Earth (2011), I Origins (2014), Imperium (2016), Dumb Money (2023), Immaculate (2024) and Tuner (2026). His television work includes The Magicians (2015) and Unbelievable (2019). He is the son of actors Ralph Bates and Virginia Wetherell.
