Biography
William Chang Suk-ping is a Hong Kong production designer, costume designer and film editor. Born on 12 November 1953, he has worked extensively in the Hong Kong film industry since the 1980s.
He is a frequent collaborator of director Wong Kar-wai, contributing to films including Chungking Express (1994), on which he is credited as production designer, costume designer and editor, Days of Being Wild (1990), In the Mood for Love (2000), 2046 (2004) and The Grandmaster (2013). He has also worked with directors such as Stanley Kwan, Patrick Tam and Johnnie To. In 2014 he received an Academy Award nomination for best costume design for The Grandmaster.
