Biography
Willie Ross was an English actor. He began his career as a comedian on the North East club circuit, forming the double act Lambert and Ross with Peter Lambert in 1968; the partnership lasted until 1988.
Ross moved into acting in the late 1980s. His film roles include Sue's Father in Rita, Sue and Bob Too (1987), Roy in The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover (1989) and Gus Siddon in Riff-Raff (1991). Television appearances include episodes of One Foot in the Grave (1990) and Brass Eye (1997).
He died in February 2000, aged 61, following an accident at home.
