Biography
Xosha Roquemore is an American actress. She was born on 11 December 1984 in Los Angeles, California. She began acting at The Amazing Grace Conservatory while in ninth grade and later graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
Roquemore made her feature film debut as Jo Ann in Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire (2009). She is also known for her role as Tamra Webb in the television series The Mindy Project (2013–2017). Her other credits include G.B.F. (2013), The Disaster Artist (2017), Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021), The Sex Lives of College Girls (2021) and Captain America: Brave New World (2025).
She was in a relationship with actor LaKeith Stanfield from 2015 to 2017; they have one child together.
