Biography
Zane Weiner is a film producer and production manager. He has worked extensively with director Peter Jackson, serving as unit production manager on the Lord of the Rings trilogy and as producer on the Hobbit film series.
His credits include producer on The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012), The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013) and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014). He was also unit production manager on The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001), The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002) and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003). Other production credits include Mortal Engines (2018), American Pastoral (2016) and Shine a Light (2008).
Weiner was a member of the directorial team recognised with the Directors Guild of America Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Motion Pictures for The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.
