Biography

Adam Arkapaw is an Australian cinematographer. He graduated from the University of Melbourne's Victorian College of the Arts in 2006.

He is known for his work on the television series Top of the Lake (2013) and True Detective (2014), for which he received two Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards. His film credits include Animal Kingdom (2010), Snowtown (2011), Macbeth (2015), Assassin's Creed (2016), The Light Between Oceans (2016), The King (2019) and The Order (2024). He has frequently collaborated with director Justin Kurzel.
