Biography
Adam Hugill is an English actor. He trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and began his professional career in 2019.
His early stage work included the role of Jimmy in Standing at the Sky’s Edge at the Sheffield Crucible, for which he won Best Actor in a Musical at the Stage Debut Awards. On screen he appeared as Private Atkins in the film 1917 (2019) and as Constable Carrot Ironfoundersson in the series The Watch (2021).
Hugill played Scott Rowley in the BBC series Sherwood (2022–2024) and Rintrah in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022). He reprised the voice role in Marvel Zombies (2025) and appeared as Mac in Towards Zero (2025). He originated the role of Harry Maguire in the National Theatre production of Dear England and reprised it for the 2026 BBC miniseries adaptation.
