Biography
Aisha Tyler (born 18 September 1970) is an American actress, director, comedian, author and television host. A San Francisco native, she graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in government and environmental policy before moving into stand-up comedy and acting in the mid-1990s.
Tyler is known for recurring roles including Charlie Wheeler in Friends (2002–2003) and Dr Tara Lewis in Criminal Minds (2015–), which she has also directed. She voices Lana Kane in Archer (2009–) and has directed episodes of The Walking Dead (2010), Fear the Walking Dead (2015) and Criminal Minds. She hosted The Talk and Whose Line Is It Anyway? (2013–).
