Biography
Lily Mariye is an American actress and television director. Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, she graduated from UCLA with a BA in Theatre Arts. She is best known for playing Nurse Lily Jarvik in all 15 seasons of the NBC series ER (1994–2009).
Mariye has directed episodes of numerous series, including The Walking Dead (2022), The Terror: Infamy (2019), The Walking Dead: World Beyond (2021), Chicago P.D., Criminal Minds, NCIS: Los Angeles, How to Get Away with Murder and Nashville. She received a Directors Guild of America Award nomination for an episode of Just Add Magic. Her feature directorial debut was the 2012 film Model Minority, which she also wrote.
She is married to saxophonist Boney James.
