Biography
Al Francis (9 August 1918 – 16 June 1998) was a cinematographer who worked primarily in American television. He began as a camera operator on the first two seasons of Star Trek before serving as director of photography for sixteen episodes of the third season.
Francis also worked on Mission: Impossible and numerous other series, including The Immortal, Fantasy Island, T. J. Hooker and Hunter. He received two Primetime Emmy nominations for his cinematography.
