Biography
Edward J. Lakso was an American screenwriter, producer and composer. He was born in San Francisco on 20 September 1932 and died in Beverly Hills, California, on 23 May 2009.
Lakso graduated from UCLA with a degree in music. He wrote for numerous television series, including Perry Mason, Combat!, Star Trek (1966), Mission: Impossible (1966), The Rockford Files, Starsky & Hutch, Charlie's Angels (for which he also served as producer), The Six Million Dollar Man, Hawaii Five-O, The Fall Guy and Airwolf. His feature-film credits include The Broken Land (1962) and Gentle Giant (1967). He retired in 1986.
