Alex Manette is an American actor. Born on 31 October 1969 in Rockville Centre, New York, he was raised on Long Island in Garden City.

After high school he moved to Los Angeles, where he studied acting with Roy London and Ivana Chubbuck. He later returned to New York City, where he is based.

Manette's film roles include Steven in Shame (2011), Colin in We Need to Talk About Kevin (2011), Bob Haldeman in The Butler (2013) and Senator Albert Votto in You Were Never Really Here (2017). He has also appeared in television series including Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Person of Interest.
