Biography
Alex March (1921–1989) was an American television director, producer and occasional actor. He began his career in the early 1950s as a script editor and stage actor before moving into production on live anthology series such as Studio One and Kraft Theatre. He later directed episodes of numerous network dramas and crime series.
His directing credits include The Fugitive (1963), The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (1964), Kojak (1973), Barney Miller (1975), Dallas (1978), Hart to Hart (1979) and Quincy, M.E. (1976). March also directed the feature film Paper Lion (1968) and the television film The Return of Captain Nemo (1978). He continued working on series into the 1980s.
