Biography
Robert C. Dennis (1915–1983) was a Canadian-born American television writer. He authored more than 500 teleplays, primarily in the mystery and detective genres, as well as pulp stories, radio scripts and two novels.
Dennis began his writing career with short stories in the late 1930s and moved into radio and then television in the early 1950s. He created the adventure series Passport to Danger (1954–1956) and contributed episodes to Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Perry Mason, The Fugitive (1963), Mission: Impossible (1966), Batman (1966), Get Smart (1965), The Six Million Dollar Man (1974), Charlie's Angels (1976) and many others. He also wrote several feature screenplays in the 1950s.
