Biography
Alfredo Septién, also credited as Al Septien, is an American writer and producer. He began his career with acting roles in the late 1980s before moving into screenwriting, often collaborating with Turi Meyer on horror and comedy films including Leprechaun 2 (1994), Candyman: Day of the Dead (1999) and Wrong Turn 2: Dead End (2007).
Septién worked extensively on the television series Smallville (2001), serving as story editor, writer of multiple episodes (frequently with Meyer), co-producer and supervising producer, and directing one episode. He later contributed as a writer and producer on series including The Vampire Diaries (2009), Witches of East End (2013), Midnight, Texas (2017), DC's Stargirl (2020) and the miniseries Griselda (2024).
