Biography

Andrew Buckland is an American film editor. He began his career in the editorial department as an assistant editor on films including The Devil's Own (1997) and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000). He holds a B.F.A. in Film from Purchase College.

Buckland has collaborated extensively with director James Mangold, working on Knight and Day (2010), The Wolverine (2013) and subsequent projects. He co-edited Ford v Ferrari (2019) with Michael McCusker, for which they won the Academy Award for Best Film Editing. His other editing credits include The Girl on the Train (2016), The New Mutants (2020), Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023) and A Complete Unknown (2024). He has also directed documentaries.
