Biography

Andrew Morgan is an English television director. Born in Somerset in 1942, he trained at RADA and worked as a stage director at the Theatre Royal, York, before joining the BBC. He became a freelance director in 1978.

Morgan is known for directing episodes of Doctor Who (1963), including Time and the Rani (1987) and Remembrance of the Daleks (1988), as well as Blake's 7 (1978), EastEnders (1985), Casualty (1986) and The Worst Witch (1998). He also produced the BBC series One by One (1984). He received BAFTA nominations for Swallows & Amazons, The Prince and the Pauper and The Worst Witch.
