Biography
Anthony Russell is an American actor and musician. He began his career in music, playing harmonica, ukulele, guitar, trombone and piano as a child. He worked his way through college in a show band and, after graduating from Montclair State College with a major in trombone and a minor in piano, performed as a lounge act in Las Vegas hotels, opening for artists including Frankie Avalon, Julie London and Lou Rawls.
Russell later studied acting at HB Studios in New York and became a member of the Actors Studio. He appeared in stage productions including four Actors Studio shows and "Lamppost Reunion". His film roles include Jerry the Bookie in Bugsy (1991), a bookie in Casino (1995), a busboy in Ed Wood (1994) and Giovanni in Norbit (2007). Television credits include appearances in The Office (2007), Ghost Whisperer (2006), Scrubs (2009) and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch (1996).
