Biography
Ashley Gable is an American screenwriter and producer. She began her television career in 1996 as a staff writer on the first season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, for which she and writing partner Thomas A. Swyden received credits on two episodes.
Gable has written for series including Xena: Warrior Princess (1995), The Invisible Man (2000), Crossing Jordan (2001), The Mentalist (2008) and Person of Interest (2011). She served as executive producer on The Mentalist for its first four seasons and has held producing roles on Designated Survivor (2016), Bull (2016) and Magnum P.I. (2018). A former attorney who graduated from Harvard University in 1988, she has been active in the Writers Guild of America.
