Biography
Barry Shabaka Henley is an American character actor. He was born on 15 September 1954 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Henley has appeared in numerous films and television series. His credits include the role of Daniel Baker in Collateral (2004), as well as parts in The Terminal (2004), Rush Hour (1998), A Star Is Born (2018) and Carrie (2013). On television he has played recurring roles in Bob Hearts Abishola (2019–2024) as Uncle Tunde and guest appearances in series such as Grey's Anatomy and Better Call Saul.
As a stage actor Henley has received a Drama Desk Award, an Obie Award and an Olivier Award. He has performed with the San Francisco Mime Troupe and is frequently cast in projects directed by Michael Mann.
