Biography
Barry Trivers (12 February 1907 – 17 August 1981) was an American screenwriter and television writer born in Egypt. He worked in Hollywood from the 1930s, contributing to feature films including Flying Tigers (1942).
Trivers wrote extensively for television in the 1950s and 1960s. His credits include a story for The Fugitive (1963) and the teleplay for the Star Trek episode 'The Conscience of the King' (1966). He also wrote episodes of Naked City, Perry Mason, Rawhide, Mannix and Kojak. In 1962 he received a Writers Guild of America award for his Naked City screenplay 'The Fault in Our Stars'. He was married to actress Florine McKinney.
