Biography
Brian Reitzell is an American composer, music supervisor, record producer and multi-instrumentalist. Born on 24 December 1965 in California, he was formerly the drummer for the band Redd Kross and has collaborated with the French electronica duo Air.
Reitzell began working in film as music supervisor on Sofia Coppola’s The Virgin Suicides (1999). He has maintained a long collaboration with Coppola on projects including Lost in Translation (2003), for which he received a BAFTA nomination, Marie Antoinette (2006) and The Bling Ring (2013). His composing credits include Stranger Than Fiction (2006, co-composed with Britt Daniel), 30 Days of Night (2007), Red Riding Hood (2011), Beginners (2011), Hannibal (2013–2015) and Black Mirror: Bandersnatch (2018).
