Biography
Charles B. Wessler (born 16 May 1955) is an American film producer. He began his career as a production assistant on films including Can I Do It... 'Til I Need Glasses? (1977), The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi (1983). He later worked at The Ladd Company and Zoetrope Studios before producing television specials for HBO.
Wessler is best known for his long collaboration with the Farrelly brothers. Their first feature together was Dumb and Dumber (1994). He produced There's Something About Mary (1998), for which he received a Golden Globe nomination, as well as Me, Myself & Irene (2000), Shallow Hal (2001), Stuck on You (2003), Hall Pass (2011), The Three Stooges (2012), Movie 43 (2013) and Dumb and Dumber To (2014). In 2018 he produced Green Book, which won the Academy Award for Best Picture.
