Biography
Charles Gordon, also credited as Chuck Gordon, was an American film and television producer. He began his career as a talent agent before working as a screenwriter and television producer, including executive producer credits on series such as The Renegades (1983) and Just Our Luck (1983). He later collaborated extensively with his brother Lawrence Gordon.
Gordon's film credits include executive producer on Die Hard (1988) and producer on Field of Dreams (1989), Die Hard 2 (1990), Lock Up (1989), K-9 (1989), The Rocketeer (1991), Waterworld (1995), October Sky (1999), The Girl Next Door (2004), Hitman (2007) and Hitman: Agent 47 (2015). He and his brother received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture for Field of Dreams.
Born on 13 May 1947 in Belzoni, Mississippi, Gordon died on 31 October 2020 in Los Angeles.
