Biography
Chris Elliott is an American actor, comedian and writer. Born Christopher Nash Elliott on 31 May 1960 in New York City, he is the son of comedian Bob Elliott, one half of the Bob and Ray duo.
He began his career as a writer and performer on Late Night with David Letterman from 1982 to 1988, earning four Primetime Emmy Awards for writing. Elliott created and starred in the Fox sitcom Get a Life (1990–1992) and appeared in the film Cabin Boy (1994).
He is known for supporting roles including Larry in Groundhog Day (1993) and Dom Woganowski in There's Something About Mary (1998). Later television work includes recurring parts on Everybody Loves Raymond and How I Met Your Mother, and the role of Roland Schitt in Schitt's Creek (2015–2020).
