Biography

Christian Huband is a British production designer and art director. Born in Cornwall, England, he has worked in the film industry for over 25 years, beginning in roles such as set decorator, assistant art director and set designer on productions including Hornblower (1998), for which he received an Emmy nomination, Munich (2005) and the Harry Potter films.

He progressed to supervising art director on Justice League (2017) and Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021), among others. As production designer, often in collaboration with David Hindle, his credits include The Aeronauts (2019) and Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical (2022). He served as sole production designer on How to Make a Killing (2026). He has received several Art Directors Guild awards and a Set Decorators Society of America award for Matilda the Musical.
