Biography
Christine Bottomley is an English actress born on 27 April 1979 in Rochdale, Greater Manchester. She trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, graduating in 2001, and made her television debut that year in EastEnders.
Her television roles include Melanie in the BBC sitcom Early Doors (2003–2004), Susie Ward in Heartbeat (2003), Zoe Wyatt in Shameless (2006), Yvonne O'Neill in The Street (2006), and appearances in Torchwood (2008). Film work includes Hush (2008) and Peterloo (2018). Later credits encompass The End of the F*ing World (2017–2019), Back to Life (2019–2021) and Domina (2021).
She has won Best Actress three times at the BBC Audio Drama Awards.
