Biography
Christopher Ryan, born Christopher Papazoglou, is a British actor. He trained at East 15 Acting School and began his professional career at the Glasgow Citizens' Theatre.
He is known for his role as Mike The Cool Person in the BBC sitcom The Young Ones (1982–1984). Other television credits include Dave Hedgehog in Bottom (1991–1995), Tony Driscoll in Only Fools and Horses (1981–), Marshall Turtle in Absolutely Fabulous (1992–) and its 2016 film, and appearances in Doctor Who (as Kiv in 1986 and General Staal in 2008–2010). He has also appeared in One Foot in the Grave and Santa Claus: The Movie (1985).
