Biography
Christopher T. Welch is an American sound editor, dialogue editor and ADR supervisor. He began working in television sound editing in the late 1970s and early 1980s, later taking on producing, editing and directing roles on series including Moonlighting (1985–1989) and Tales from the Darkside (1984–1988).
Welch has supervised or edited dialogue and ADR on numerous feature films, including Pearl Harbor (2001), Silver Linings Playbook (2012), Frozen (2013), The Revenant (2015) and The Boss Baby (2017). He received a Primetime Emmy Award in 1984 for Outstanding Film Sound Editing for the television film The Day After.
