Biography

Chukwudi Iwuji is a Nigerian-British actor. Born on 15 October 1975 in Nigeria, he attended boarding school in England from the age of 12. He studied economics at Yale University and later obtained an MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He returned to the United Kingdom and began performing with the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2001, later becoming an Associate Artist.

Iwuji is known for stage roles in Shakespeare productions including Henry VI, Hamlet and Othello. On screen, he has appeared in John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017) as Akoni, Peacemaker (2022) as Clemson Murn, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023) as The High Evolutionary, and The Day of the Jackal (2024) as Osita Halcrow.
