Biography
Ciarán Griffiths is a British actor born on 3 March 1983 in Manchester, England. He began acting as a teenager, appearing in the children's series Children's Ward while attending St Mary's RC High School in Astley near Leigh.
Griffiths is known for his long-running television roles as PC Gary Best in The Bill (2002–2005) and Mickey Maguire in Shameless (2007–2012). He has also appeared as Damon Hay (and earlier as Dean Sykes) in Coronation Street, as well as in Waterloo Road, Vera, Atlantis and Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators. Film credits include There's Only One Jimmy Grimble (2000).
