Biography

Cole Hauser is an American actor. Born on 22 March 1975 in Santa Barbara, California, he is the son of actor Wings Hauser and Cass Warner, founder of the production company Warner Sisters. His paternal grandfather was screenwriter, actor and producer Dwight Hauser; his maternal grandfather was screenwriter and producer Milton Sperling; and his great-grandfather was Warner Bros. co-founder Harry Warner.

Hauser began acting in the early 1990s and is known for film roles including Benny O'Donnell in Dazed and Confused (1993), Billy McBride in Good Will Hunting (1997), William J. Johns in Pitch Black (2000), Carter Verone in 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003), and Colonel Stevens in Transcendence (2014). On television he has played Rip Wheeler in the series Yellowstone (2018–2024). He received an Independent Spirit Award nomination for best supporting male for his performance in Tigerland (2000).
