Biography
Corin William Redgrave (1939–2010) was an English actor. He appeared in character roles on stage, film and television from the 1960s until his death.
He was educated at Westminster School and King's College, Cambridge. Redgrave was part of the Redgrave theatrical family as the son of actors Michael Redgrave and Rachel Kempson, and brother of Vanessa Redgrave and Lynn Redgrave. He was married to actress Kika Markham from 1985 and was the father of actress Jemma Redgrave.
His screen credits include William Roper in A Man for All Seasons (1966), Cornwall in Excalibur (1981), Robert Dixon in In the Name of the Father (1993), Hamish in Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994) and Sir Walter Elliot in Persuasion (1995). He was also a left-wing political activist and co-founder of the Marxist Party.
