Biography
Craig W. Van Sickle is an American television writer, producer and creator. He graduated from Indiana University in 1979 with a degree in telecommunications and moved to Los Angeles, where he began his career selling scripts to series including The Love Boat and Murder, She Wrote.
With longtime writing partner Steven Long Mitchell, he co-created the series The Pretender (1996), on which they served as writers, producers and directors. Van Sickle has written episodes of 24 (2001), NCIS (2003), Medical Investigation, Alien Nation (1989) and Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008). He also wrote for the miniseries Tin Man (2007), for which he received an Emmy nomination, and has co-authored novels set in the Pretender universe.
