Biography
Cristine Rose is an American actress. Born on 31 January 1951 in Lynwood, California, she graduated with a degree in theatre from Stanford University and began her career on stage before moving into television.
Her early television work included guest appearances in series such as Moonlighting (1985), where she played Lauren Baxter. She had a regular role as Barbara Bueller in the short-lived series Ferris Bueller (1990–1991) and recurring parts in Picket Fences, Grace Under Fire and Providence.
Rose is best known for her portrayal of Angela Petrelli in Heroes (2006–2010, becoming a series regular from 2008) and its miniseries Heroes Reborn (2015–2016). She also had a recurring role as Virginia Mosby in How I Met Your Mother (2005–2014) and appeared in guest roles across numerous series including Friends, Charmed, Malcolm in the Middle and The Mentalist, as well as films such as What Women Want (2000).
