Biography

Dan Zimmerman is an American film editor. Born on 8 April 1974 in Los Angeles, California, he is the son of editor Don Zimmerman and the twin brother of editor Dean Zimmerman.

He began his career in the editorial department, working as an assistant editor on films including Liar Liar (1997), before taking lead editing credits from The Omen (2006) onwards. His work includes Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (2007), Predators (2010), A Good Day to Die Hard (2013), the Maze Runner trilogy (2014–2018), The Dark Tower (2017), Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (2024, co-edited with Dirk Westervelt) and The Thursday Murder Club (2025).
