Biography
David Fleeshman (born 11 July 1952) is a Scottish actor, broadcaster, drama lecturer and theatre director. He trained at the Birmingham Theatre School and made his stage debut in 1973 with the Birmingham Repertory Theatre. In 1974 he joined the Octagon Theatre, Bolton, as actor and assistant stage manager, and has also served as associate director of the Oldham Coliseum Theatre.
Fleeshman is known for television roles including D.O.E. Assistant Manager in Boys from the Blackstuff (1982) and Jones in Edge of Darkness (1985), as well as appearances in Pink Floyd: The Wall (1982), Only Fools and Horses (1985), North & South (2004), It's a Sin (2021) and All Creatures Great & Small (2020). He has directed numerous plays and received a Manchester Evening News Theatre Award for best supporting actor for his performance in The Price (2005). In 1978 he married actress Sue Jenkins; they have three children, all actors.
