Biography
Deborah Riley is an Australian production designer. She studied architecture at the University of Queensland before completing a design course at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney. She began her career in film and television in Australia and later worked in Los Angeles.
Riley joined the production of Game of Thrones as production designer from season 4 (2014) to season 8 (2019), overseeing the design of numerous sets and locations. She received four Primetime Emmy Awards for her work on the series. Her other credits include set design on The Matrix (1999), art direction on 21 Grams (2003), and production design on 3 Body Problem (2024).
