Biography
Deepak Nayar is an Indian film producer. He began his career in India, working as a location manager on Merchant Ivory productions including Heat and Dust (1983) and The Deceivers (1988). He later moved to Los Angeles, where he founded the production company Kintop Pictures.
Nayar has produced or executive produced numerous feature films. His credits include Lost Highway (1997) and The End of Violence (1997) for David Lynch and Wim Wenders respectively, Bend It Like Beckham (2002), Buena Vista Social Club (1999), and executive producer roles on Wind River (2017), Dredd (2012) and Greenland (2020). He has also worked in television and co-founded the Filmaka platform for emerging filmmakers.
