Biography
Dennis Haysbert is an American actor. He trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts after graduating from San Mateo High School.
He is known for his role as President David Palmer in the first five seasons of the series 24 (2001–2006), as Pedro Cerrano in the Major League film trilogy (1989–1998), and as Sergeant Major Jonas Blane in The Unit (2006–2009). Other credits include Donald Breedan in Heat (1995), God in Lucifer (2016–2021), and Franklin in Send Help (2026). He has also provided voice work in films such as Wreck-It Ralph (2012) and Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011), and narrated the series American Justice.
