Biography
Diana King (2 August 1918 – 31 July 1986) was an English actress. She trained at the Fay Compton School of Drama and appeared on stage and screen from 1939 until her death.
She is known for roles in British sitcoms including Fawlty Towers (1975) as Mrs. Rachel Lloyd, semi-regular appearances as Mrs. Peacock in Are You Being Served? (1976–1983), and parts in Dad's Army, Rising Damp and You're Only Young Twice (as Mildred Fanshawe). Other credits include The Avengers (1961), Pink Floyd: The Wall (1982) and They Came from Beyond Space (1967). She was married to actor John Harvey.
