Biography
Dirk Blocker is an American actor. Born Dennis Dirk Blocker on 31 July 1957 in Los Angeles, California, he is the son of actor Dan Blocker and the brother of producer David Blocker.
He began appearing on television in 1974 and had his first regular series role as pilot Jerry Bragg on Baa Baa Black Sheep (1976–1978). Blocker is best known for playing Detective Michael Hitchcock on the comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013–2021). His other credits include guest roles on Little House on the Prairie (1974), ER (1994), The X-Files (1993), Deadwood (2004) and Criminal Minds (2005), as well as film appearances in Poltergeist (1982), Starman (1984) and Prince of Darkness (1987).
