Biography
Edward K. Gibbon is a British costume designer. He studied History of Design at Manchester Polytechnic and trained as a tailor before working in theatre as a costume supervisor and designer at venues including the Almeida Theatre, the National Theatre and the Donmar Warehouse, and with the Glyndebourne Opera costume team.
His television credits include the series Skins (2007–2013), War and Peace (2016), The Honourable Woman (2014), The Luminaries (2020), Liaison (2023) and The Diplomat (2023–2024). Film work includes Undergods (2020) and The Lost Daughter (2021). He designed costumes for the Netflix series House of Guinness (2025).
Gibbon has received a BAFTA award and nominations from the Costume Designers Guild and the Royal Television Society.
