Biography
Eleanor Matsuura is a British actress. She was born in Tokyo, Japan, and trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating in 2004.
She has appeared in stage productions at the Royal Court Theatre, the Old Vic and several West End theatres. On television she is known for roles including DI Hopkins in Sherlock (2010), Jo Nakashima in Doctor Who (2005), Bev in Utopia (2013), Yumiko Okumura in The Walking Dead (2010) and Zina Jansone in The Day of the Jackal (2024). Film credits include Epione in Wonder Woman (2017) and Justice League (2017), and the American Journalist in The Lady in the Van (2015).
She is married to actor Trevor White.
