Biography
Emma Sullivan is a British film and television director. She trained at the National Film and Television School, where she received a David Lean Foundation scholarship for her MA in Fiction Direction. She also holds a BA Hons in Fine Art from Central St Martin’s College of Art & Design and an MA in Communication, Art & Design from the Royal College of Art.
Her television credits include episodes of Call the Midwife (2018), Doctor Who (2020), The Watch (2021), Silent Witness (2019), Holby City (2014) and One Piece (2023). She has also written and directed several short films, including After Tomorrow (2009), which was nominated for a Palme d’Or at Cannes and won Best Short Film at the Edinburgh International Film Festival.
