Biography
Erik Tarloff is an American screenwriter and novelist. He wrote episodes for several 1970s American sitcoms, including three for MASH (1974–1981) and three for All in the Family (1977). He also contributed to The Jeffersons (1975), The Bob Newhart Show (1972) and Alice* (1976). For his television work he received a Primetime Emmy nomination.
Tarloff later turned to fiction. His novels include the national bestseller Face-Time (1998), The Man Who Wrote the Book, All Our Yesterdays and The Woman in Black. He is the son of screenwriter Frank Tarloff and lives in Berkeley, California.
