Biography
Francis Megahy was a British director and writer. He was born on 18 March 1935 in Manchester and died on 1 May 2020 in Los Angeles.
He directed episodes of the television series Dempsey and Makepeace (1985), Lovejoy (1986, for which he also wrote), Minder, The Professionals and Hammer House of Horror. His feature films as director include The Great Riviera Bank Robbery (1979) and Taffin (1988). Megahy also wrote screenplays and directed numerous documentaries.
