Biography
Gary Freeman is a British production designer. He began his career in the art department, working as an assistant art director and supervising art director on films including Saving Private Ryan (1998), Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001), Children of Men (2006), Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007) and Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2010).
Freeman moved into production design with Maleficent (2014). Subsequent credits include Everest (2015), Allied (2016), Tomb Raider (2018), Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle (2018), The Witches (2020), Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One (2023) and Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning (2025). He has received two wins and sixteen nominations for his work.
