Biography
Gary Lennon is an American playwright, television writer, producer and showrunner. He wrote episodes of the FX series The Shield (2008) and has contributed to Justified (2010), Orange Is the New Black (2013), Power (2014) and Hightown (2020).
Lennon has served as co-showrunner on Power and Hightown for Starz, and as showrunner on Power Book IV: Force. He is an executive producer on HBO's Euphoria. His stage work includes the play Blackout, and he wrote and directed the 2006 feature .45.
He has received Peabody Awards for Justified and Orange Is the New Black, NAACP Image Awards for Power, and other honours including WGA and PGA awards.
