Biography
Geoffrey Sax (sometimes credited as Geoff Sax) is a British film and television director. He was born on 17 October 1949 in Barnet, Middlesex, England.
He began his career in the late 1970s directing comedy sketch shows such as End of Part One and Cannon and Ball. In the early 1980s he moved into drama, directing episodes of BBC series including Bergerac and Lovejoy. Later credits include The New Statesman (for which he won a BAFTA Television Award), the 1996 television film Doctor Who, Tipping the Velvet (2002), White Noise (2005), Stormbreaker (2006), Frankie & Alice (2010), Christopher and His Kind (2011) and episodes of Endeavour (2014, 2018) and Victoria.
